Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, said the killing of the head of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, is a significant step in the joint, continuing war against terrorists and their ideology of hate.
"Jordan will remain at the forefront of efforts to destroy this evil in cooperation with our partners in the Global Coalition, in defense of our security and values," the top diplomat said in a tweet on his Twitter official account.
Baghdadi was killed in a raid conducted by the US military in northwest Syria on Saturday, October 27, 2019.
