Thursday, an Israeli Occupation settler assaulted a Palestinian boy from the town of Huwwara, south of Nablus in the West Bank, as reported by the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

According to the boy’s father Suleiman al-Mukhtar, an Israeli Occupation settler was driving in the area then stopped his vehicle and pepper-sprayed his 14-year-old son Faysal.

Faysal was standing on the side of the street when the Israeli Occupation settler passed by in a car.

Israeli Occupation settlers are often protected by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), which has lead to the recent escalation of violence against Palestinians in occupied territories.

The Palestinian Authority continues to call on the international community to protect Palestinians and their rights.
