Monday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that one Palestinian was killed and four others were injured after getting shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) during a raid on the Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho.

The Palestinian that was fatally shot was identified as 17-year-old Mohammad Balhan.

This brings the death toll since the beginning of this year to 96, according to the ministry.

According to Roya's correspondent, a large number of IOF soldiers stormed the camp, surrounded a house, and blocked all entrances.

Hebrew sources said that the current events in the camp are not related to the Jordan Valley operation or efforts to track down the shooter.

They said that the raid aims to arrest a cell planning to launch operations in the near future.
