An 11-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool inside a villa in Jericho, Palestine, according to the media spokesperson for the Palestinian police, Louay Irzeiqat.

The boy was in critical condition when he arrived at the Jericho Governmental Hospital and died soon after.

Irzeiqat added that the necessary legal procedures are being taken.
