Two “Israeli” captives freed from Rafah, claims army

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed Monday that it has safely rescued two captives held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The two captives are Fernando Simon Marmam. 60 years old, and Norberto Louis Har, 70, and were rescued in a joint operation by the IOF, Shin Bet, and the “Israeli” police in Rafah - per official statements.

The IOF’s spokesperson Daniel Hagari said that the hostages were held in a second floor apartment in Rafah, and the special forces broke into the building at 1:49 a.m.

The "Israeli" War Cabinet member and Minister, Benny Gantz, hailed the rescue operation and also mourned the deaths of two “Israeli” soldiers killed in a separate operation.

“We will never give them up. A big boost to the IDF, the Shin Bet and the IDF forces for precise and courageous execution,” Gantz wrote in is “X” account.

“We will not stop working to return all 134 abductees home,” he added, “We remember, and we continue.”
