Around 125,000 worshipers observed the third Friday prayer of Ramadan at the revered Aqsa Mosque, despite stringent and unprecedented measures imposed by the Israeli Occupation Forces in Jerusalem.

Yousef Abu Sneina, the preacher at Aqsa Mosque, emphasized that Palestinians made the journey to the mosque today to reaffirm its Islamic significance and reject attempts to Judaize it.

Israeli Occupation Forces persisted in imposing strict restrictions on access to Jerusalem, intensifying their presence at military checkpoints leading to the city. They conducted identity checks and prevented hundreds from reaching Jerusalem for Friday prayers, citing the lack of necessary permits.

Many Palestinians resorted to praying in the streets near the checkpoints after being barred from entering the Aqsa Mosque, with the majority being elderly individuals.
