Saudi Arabia is set to make its debut in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant. Rumy Alqahtani, a 27-year-old model and content creator from Riyadh, will be representing Saudi Arabia in the competition.

Expressing her excitement, Alqahtani shared on her Instagram account, "I am honoured to participate in the Miss Universe 2024 competition. This marks the first participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Miss Universe pageant."

The Miss Universe 2024 pageant will take place in Mexico and will also feature Iran's debut. Alqahtani, in addition to being crowned Miss Saudi Arabia, holds several other titles, including Miss Middle East (Saudi Arabia), Miss Arab World Peace 2021, and Miss Woman (Saudi Arabia). She has previously represented Saudi Arabia in various international pageants.

Alqahtani, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in dentistry, is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
