The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) stated that a security unit from the Criminal Investigation Department gathered information about an individual wanted and classified as extremely dangerous and armed (with 33 outstanding warrants related to cases of murder, drugs, and others) and located him in one of the areas in western Balqa.

The spokesperson confirmed that the security force raided the location where the wanted individual was, as he attempted to flee upon seeing the force, using a vehicle he had. He was pursued and apprehended after his vehicle overturned, and he was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

The spokesperson further confirmed that three firearms, live ammunition, and a quantity of narcotics were found in his possession, and he will be referred to the relevant authorities once the investigations are completed.
