Four people were injured in two traffic accidents within the past 24 hours on highways in Jordan.

Captain Ayman Al-Harhasha, the representative of the Highway Patrols Administration, said in the traffic report via the Public Security Directorate's (PSD) radio that at exactly eleven thirty yesterday morning, a vehicle overturned on the Desert Highway.

Al-Harhasha added that the rollover accident resulted in injuries to individuals, and Civil Defense teams worked to transfer the injured to Al-Karak Government Hospital.

The injured individuals' general health condition is moderate.

Also, a collision occurred at one o'clock yesterday afternoon between two vehicles on the Baghdad Road, resulting in minor injuries. Civil Defense teams transferred the injured to King Talal Military Hospital.

Al-Harhasha indicated that the causes of the accidents were attributed to the lack of necessary traffic safety precautions and improper handling of the curves.
