International Astronomy Center shared an image of the Shawwal crescent as seen from the Jordanian sky.

In a tweet from its official account, the Center, represented by Dr. Anas Sawalha, confirmed the sighting.

Arab nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar have already declared Wednesday as the start of Eid al-Fitr, however, Jordan will sight the moon on Tuesday evening.
