The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) announced that it distributed 1,717 tons of flour to displaced families in the Gaza Strip during the holy month of Ramadan.

Each family received a share estimated at 25 kilograms as part of the continuous efforts of the JHCO to support the residents of Gaza, according to Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, the Secretary-General of JHCO.

Al-Shubli noted that the organization will continue to send aid based on a priority-based list of needs, aiming to provide the best services to those affected by aggression and ensuring that aid reaches those eligible for it.

The JHCO managed to introduce this vital commodity into northern Gaza, despite the blockade that hindered food supply operations for around four months.

This step played a vital role in alleviating the burden on families suffering from food shortages and consecutive crises - the statement added.
