Canada has advised its citizens to “avoid all travel” to the Israeli Occupation and the West Bank, citing the “heightened risk of attacks on Israeli territory” - Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said on her “X” account.

“The regional security situation remains highly volatile & could escalate without notice,” she added, urging Canadians to consider leaving by commercial means.

Several countries have warned their citizens to not travel to “Israel”, as the risk of Iranian retaliation against “Israel” looms over the region - in response to an “Israeli” airstrike last week that targeted the Iranian consular annex in Damascus which left seven revolutionary guards dead, including senior general Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a commander in the Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon.

Earlier today, Iranian commandos raided and detained an “Israeli” ship near the Strait of Hormuz onboard a helicopter on Saturday.

A Middle Eastern defense official said that Iran was behind the attack. The vessel -MSC Aries- was flying the flag of Portugal with 20 Filipinos on board and was bound for India.

The ship is partially owned by Zodiac Maritime, a company part of “Ofer Global” chaired by “Israeli” billionaire and businessman Eyal Ofer.

The detained ship is currently being moved to Iranian waters - according to Iran’s official news agency “IRNA”.
