The White House National Security Council Spokesperson Adrienne Watson confirmed that Iran has begun an airborne attack against the Israeli Occupation that will unfold over a number of hours - per statements cited by Axios.

President Joe Biden is being regularly updated on the situation by his national security team and will meet with them this afternoon at the White House - and will hold a meeting with Secretaries of Defense and State, CIA Director, and National Security Advisor.

Watson added that Biden’s team is in constant communication with “Israeli” officials as well as other partners and allies.

“The US support for Israel is ironclad,” Watson added, “the United States will stand with the people of Israel and support their defense against these threats from Iran.”
