The Media Commission has referred Al-Mamlaka TV to the Attorney General for broadcasting news concerning the declaration of a state of emergency across all Jordanian governorates during the Iranian assault on the Israeli Occupation with drones and missiles on Saturday evening.

The Director of the Commission sent a letter to the Attorney General regarding this matter on Monday morning.

The Commission deemed Al-Mamlaka's broadcasts on its television screen and website to be in breach of the law, following the denial of the news' authenticity by the government's media spokesperson, Minister of Government Communications, Muhannad Al-Mubaidin.

Al-Mubaideen emphasized the importance of media accuracy, stating that legal action would be taken against anyone disseminating rumors or allegations lacking factual basis and accuracy.
