“Israeli” army says three soldiers killed, 12 wounded in Hamas attack

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) has announced today, Sunday, the death of three of its soldiers from the mortar barrage launched by Hamas earlier today which targeted a military site near Kerem Shalom, east of Rafah.

According to the official IOF statement, the names of the three soldiers are as follows:

Staff Sgt. Ruben Marc Mordechai Assouline, 19 years old from Ra'anana, from the Shaked Battalion in the Givati Brigade.

Staff Sgt. Ido Testa, 19 years old from Jerusalem, also from the Shaked Battalion in the Givati Brigade.

Staff Sgt. Tal Shavit, 21 years old from Kfar Giladi, from Battalion 931 in the Nahal Brigade.

Another 12 soldiers were also wounded in the attack, three of whom was in serious condition - according to the statement.

The death toll of “Israeli” soldiers killed since the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip has risen to 266 - per the official numbers released by the IOF.
