Rama Naser, a media professional and performer, recently shared a stirring adaptation of Disney's "Colors of the Wind" on Instagram, titled "Colors of our Soul".

In her post, Naser expressed her childhood dream of being a Disney princess, only to realize that the fairytales of love and peace didn't seem to apply to Palestinians. Instead, she decided to write her own narrative.

The video, beautifully curated by Hala Hawatmeh, with assistance from Leen Naser, Marcos Cardoso and Eman Sami, captures the essence of Palestinian identity and struggle.

Through this adaptation, Naser and Hawatmeh aimed to showcase the rich culture, faith and beauty that define Palestine. The song is a poignant reflection of the resilience and spirit of Palestinians in the face of ongoing occupation and genocide. Whether as a Palestinian in the diaspora or simply as a human being, they believe that voices of resistance are crucial in fighting injustice.
