On Friday morning, the Jordanian “Professional Associations Complex” saw a large turnout of citizens and union members responding to the call to participate in a blood donation campaign for Gaza – per Roya’s correspondent.

The unions had called on all members of society to participate in the blood donation campaign, organized in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) and the Blood Bank.

This participation comes in response to the distress call from all hospitals in northern Gaza, which are suffering from a severe blood shortage after 266 days of aggression on the Strip.

More than 4,000 citizens applied to donate blood, prompting the campaign to issue a call for citizens to stop coming to the campaign headquarters at the Professional Associations Complex.

Blood donors for the campaign will be received tomorrow at the East and West Amman Blood Banks from 8 AM to 8 PM.
