The Jordan Water Company, "Miyahuna," announced that it has addressed a "minor change in the quality of drinking water" in the Dumaina/Bayader area of the capital, Amman - according to a statement by the company.

In a statement released Tuesday, the company reported that a resident had called to report a change in the water quality at his home. In response, the company dispatched its technical teams to conduct a comprehensive survey of the affected area.

The statement added that the teams disconnected nine connections and isolated a portion of the area as a precautionary measure. In the meantime, residents in the affected area were provided with water through the company's tankers.

Miyahuna assured that its technical teams have begun taking the necessary corrective measures and that water will be restored to the area once it meets the required technical standards.

This process is being carried out in full coordination with the central laboratories of the Water Authority, the Ministry of Health, and the company's own laboratories.
