In a visit today by the “Israeli” army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi to the Northern Command headquarters with his American counterpart Charles Q. Brown, Jr. – Halevi expressed “Israel’s” desire for the United States to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear threat.

This would require a credible US military threat or military action against Iran’s nuclear facilities – per a report by Hebrew channel 12.

It added that the US informed “Israel” that it would keep its armada in the region for the coming weeks amid the heightened tensions.

In the visit to the headquarters, both generals were “presented with the ongoing combat against Hezbollah during the war and the operational plans for the future” – according to a statement by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) cited by “The Times of Israel”.

The two also discussed “security and strategic issues regarding the expansion of operational tools and the strengthening of regional partnerships as part of the response to threats in the Middle East.”
