The White House announced that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) found the bodies of six detainees held by Hamas inside a tunnel in Rafah, including an American citizen.

Additionally, the families of five “Israeli” detainees confirmed their deaths in Gaza, following the IOF's report of recovering several bodies from the Gaza Strip.

In response to the death of the American-“Israeli” detainee, US President Joe Biden expressed profound sorrow, stating, "I am devastated and shocked. My grief for his parents, John and Rachel, cannot be expressed in words."

He added, "Make no mistake, the leaders of Hamas will face consequences for their crimes."
