The Jordan national football team “Al-Nashama” is squaring off against Kuwait in their third and final round campaign of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers at 9 PM on Thursday, September 5, at Amman International Stadium.

The team wrapped up their technical and physical preparations on Wednesday at Petra Stadium in Al-Hussein Youth City, where head coach Jamal Sellami focused on the tactical approach that the team will implement in Thursday’s match.

Al-Nashama will then face Palestine at 5 PM (Jordan time) on Tuesday, September 10, in Malaysia, as part of the second round of the third stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

During the technical meeting, administrative and organizational instructions for the match were reviewed, along with the confirmation of team colors. Jordan will wear white, while Kuwait will play in blue.

The Jordanian national team is in Group B of the third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, alongside South Korea, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, and Kuwait.

According to the qualification system, teams are divided into three groups, each consisting of six teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the third- and fourth-placed teams from each group will compete in the fourth round of the qualifiers.
