Israeli Occupation continues its assault on the Gaza Strip for the 336th consecutive day, by land, sea, and air since October 7, 2023. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of 40,878 Palestinians and left 94,454 others injured.

The United States urged both the Israeli Occupation and Hamas to reach a ceasefire agreement after negotiations between the two sides faltered.

Meanwhile, Hamas has called on Washington to exert more pressure on Tel Aviv to push it toward agreeing to a ceasefire.

On the other hand, 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that "reaching an agreement is still far off."

In the meantime, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the importance of reaching an agreement between both sides to resolve outstanding issues, adding that Washington will present new proposals in the coming days to support the negotiation process.

Operation Aqsa Typhoon

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, launched Operation Aqsa Typhoon on October 7 in response to the Israeli occupation's violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In response, the Israeli Occupation launched a military operation against the Gaza Strip named "Iron Swords," conducting a series of intense airstrikes on several areas in the Strip. These attacks resulted in the martyrdom of hundreds of Palestinians, thousands of injuries, and the destruction of numerous buildings, residential towers, institutions, and infrastructure.

Rising Israeli Occupation Soldier Casualties

The number of 'Israeli' soldiers killed has risen to 706 since October 7, with 340 of them reported since the start of the ground operation on October 27, according to the Israeli Occupation.

Additionally, the Israeli Occupation army reported that 4,422 soldiers have been injured since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, with 2,645 sustaining minor injuries, 1,119 moderate injuries, and 658 critical injuries.
