The Ministry of Public Works and Housing advised citizens traveling to and from the Jordan Valley to avoid using the Wadi Shueib Road and instead use the Al-Arda Road or Al-Salam Street (Al-Adsiya).

The ministry explained in a statement to Roya that this recommendation is due to ongoing expansion and maintenance work on the Wadi Shueib-Salt and Wadi Shueib-Ma'in roads.

The ministry assured that the work area will remain open to residents and farm owners along the road. However, it encourages other travelers to use alternative routes to ensure their safety and ease of travel.

The ministry will implement partial detour systems in the project area and has equipped the site with all necessary traffic safety measures to meet high standards of public safety.

The key to maintaining safety is the awareness and cooperation of road users, who are advised to follow safe driving practices and adhere to the guidance and instructions provided by the working teams, including ministry staff, contractors, and partners from the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
