The Public Security Directorate (PSD) confirmed that security forces have completed their deployment for parliamentary election duties, beginning their work across the governorates to secure polling stations and their surroundings, as well as positioning security personnel at key locations.

The Directorate also emphasized the highest level of readiness across civil defense, the gendarmerie, and police patrols—both in uniform and plainclothes.

On Sunday, the PSD began deploying its forces to secure the elections, ensuring law enforcement is carried out fairly and providing a safe environment for the electoral process. Measures are also in place to prevent unlawful activities, such as the firing of live ammunition and disruptive convoys.

The PSD reiterated that security forces will work to strengthen public safety and enforce the law justly, particularly in ensuring a safe environment for the elections and preventing any actions that could endanger citizens' security and safety.
