The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed on Friday that they carried out a targeted airstrike in Beirut, killing Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Hezbollah's Radwan Force.
According to the IOF, the strike, guided by military intelligence, precisely targeted Aqil.
The airstrike reportedly eliminated other senior commanders within Hezbollah's operations division and Radwan Force.
The IOF emphasized that Aqil, along with the other commanders, had been involved in planning Hezbollah's "Galilee invasion" operation, which aimed to infiltrate “Israeli” towns and carry out attacks on civilians.
