Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi announced on Thursday that the number of displaced individuals from southern cities surged to 70,100 seeking refuge in 533 shelters across various regions.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported the deaths of three individuals due to Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) attacks on the town of Aita Al-Shaab in southern Lebanon.

Additionally, one person was confirmed dead, and another was injured following an IOF airstrike on the town of Qana.

Tragically, an entire family was killed in an IOF airstrike that targeted their home in the town of Shaath, located in the Baalbek district of eastern Lebanon.

The IOF announced that its fighter jets had struck 280 sites linked to Hezbollah in Lebanon in recent operations.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated that the ongoing airstrikes have resulted in at least 51 fatalities and 223 injuries across the country.

The situation in Lebanon escalated dramatically in recent days, with widespread IOF attacks targeting multiple regions, villages, and towns in both southern and eastern Lebanon.

These assaults have led to nearly 3,000 casualties, forcing tens of thousands to flee their homes as the humanitarian crisis deepens.
