Elon Musk revealed some new information about his on-again, off-again fight with Mark Zuckerberg, refusing to back down from the challenge.

In a recent Twitter update, the billionaire revealed that the much-anticipated face-off is slated to occur at an "epic location" in Italy.

Musk emphasized that this choice has been made in collaboration with the Italian government.

He wrote: "Everything done will pay respect to the past and present of Italy."

The boxing match is set to be live-streamed on both Twitter, now known as X, and Zuckerberg's Meta platforms.

Further details were revealed in the comments sections when Musk was asked about his recent MRI scan, he disclosed that he has a shoulder blade issue requiring minor surgery and several months of recovery.

Musk confirmed that Twitter blue subscribers/Elon subscribers will get bonuses, perhaps behind-the-scenes footage.

In June, Musk tweeted, "I’m up for a cage match if he is," to which Zuckerberg responded by inviting Musk to "send location."

While Musk has been more vocal about the event, he did raise the prospect of the match being a "debate."

However, on August 6, Musk seemed to confirm the physical nature of the showdown, stating that the "Zuck v Musk fight will be live-streamed on X," with all proceeds designated for veterans' charities.

The 52-year-old also shared that he has been actively preparing for the contest by engaging in weightlifting sessions throughout the day, getting ready to face his 39-year-old adversary.
