A young man was martyred by Israeli Occupation Forces' (IOF) gunfire Thursday morning northwest of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.

The IOF opened fire at the young man at Deir Sharaf roundabout, as reported by Roya's correspondent.

Clashes ensued at the checkpoint, leading to another young man sustaining a gunshot wound to his hand.

The IOF sealed off the checkpoint, impeding Palestinian movement, and fired live rounds at a parked vehicle, leaving the fate of its occupants uncertain - Palestinian media has reported.
