German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Aqaba on Saturday for a visit to Jordan. He is scheduled to meet His Majesty King Abdullah II on Sunday.

Upon his arrival at King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba, Chancellor Scholz was greeted by Naif Al Fayez, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, Khaled Al Hajaya, Aqaba Governor, German Ambassador to the Kingdom Dr. Bertram von Moltke, and several officials.
