The Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army conducted today, Tuesday, five airdrops carrying humanitarian and food aid in cooperation with partner countries, targeting several locations in the northern Gaza Strip - a statement by the JAF said.

Two aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF), one aircraft from the Arab Republic of Egypt, one aircraft from the United Arab Emirates, and one aircraft from the Federal Republic of Germany participated in the operation - according to the statement.

This operation comes within the framework of the ongoing international efforts by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to alleviate the difficult humanitarian suffering caused by the continuation of the “Israeli war” on the Gaza Strip.

The Armed Forces affirm their commitment to continue sending humanitarian and medical aid through an air bridge, either through aid aircraft from Marka Airport to El Arish International Airport or through air drops in the Gaza Strip or land convoys of aid.

The number of air drops carried out by the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army since the beginning of the “Israeli” aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 60 airdrops and 96 airdrops in cooperation with partner countries.
