The Israeli Occupation military shot dead a Palestinian young woman at the Tayasir checkpoint in the Jordan Valley after she allegedly attempted to stab soldiers, according to reports from Hebrew media.

The General Authority for Civil Affairs notified the Ministry of Health that the young woman was fatally shot by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) near Tubas.

The IOF asserted that the young woman had attempted to stab soldiers at the checkpoint and was subsequently "neutralized" by gunfire, providing no further information.

Roya's correspondent noted that ambulances were barred from reaching the young woman by Israeli Occupation Forces.
