As the Muslim world marks the joyful occasion of Eid al-Fitr amidst its ongoing challenges, the Israeli Occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip enters its 187th day.

Despite the hardships and a deliberate policy of starvation imposed by the Israeli Occupation since October 7, Gazans strive to uphold their traditional holiday customs.

Despite numerous international warnings against any incursion into Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip and now densely populated due to the displacement of over a million Palestinians, the Israeli Occupation Forces persist in preparing for a military operation in the area.

Israeli Occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared plans to launch an assault on Rafah, emphasizing his intent to eradicate the Qassam Brigades, including in Rafah, expressing determination to eliminate Hamas entirely.

However, the United States has voiced opposition to any large-scale military operation by the Israeli Occupation in Rafah, as reported by the French news agency AFP.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that in the past 24 hours alone, 153 Palestinians have been killed and 60 others injured due to Israeli Occupation aggression. This brings the total casualties since October 7th to 33,360 martyrs and 75,993 injured, according to the latest figures available.
