Iran has attacked “Israel” using dozens of drones, four U.S. and "Israeli" officials told Axios. 

Drones are expected to take several hours to reach its intended target from Iran.

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that it launched an attack against “Israel” and was conducted with dozens of missiles and drones “to strike specific targets in the occupied territories” - per a statement.

The operation was carried in response to the “Zionist entity’s crime of bombing our consulate in Syria,” it added.

The Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission announced that earlier, in order to safeguard the safety and security of civil aviation in Jordanian airspace, and in light of the escalating risks in the region, and following a risk assessment conducted according to internationally recognized standards, it has decided to temporarily close Jordanian airspace as a precautionary measure to all incoming, outgoing, and transiting flights starting from 20:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which is 11:00 PM local time, for several hours to come.

This decision will be continuously reviewed and updated according to developments - the statement added.
