The Jordanian National Football Team “Al-Nashama” tied 1-1 against Kuwait at Amman International Stadium as part of the 2026 Asian World Cup 2026 qualifiers.

Musa Al-Taamari scored the only goal for Al-Nashama in the first half (14th minute), before Kuwait equalized in the dying minutes of additional time with a penalty kick.

Al-Nashama are set to face Palestine at 5 PM (Jordan time) on Tuesday, September 10, in Malaysia, as part of the second round of fixtures of the third stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Jordanian national team is in Group B of the third and final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, alongside South Korea, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, and Kuwait.

According to the qualification system, teams are divided into three groups, each consisting of six teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup, while the third- and fourth-placed teams from each group will compete in the fourth round of the qualifiers.
