A massive funeral procession was held in Lebanon for Ibrahim Aqil, a prominent Hezbollah leader, with participation from political, military, and official representatives, along with delegations from Palestinian factions and a large crowd of resistance supporters.

The atmosphere was filled with chants supporting both Lebanese and Palestinian resistance against Israeli Occupation, condemning the crimes and targeting of resistance fighters by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Sheikh Naim Qassem, delivered a speech during the ceremony, accusing the IOF of committing horrific war crimes, which he described as among the most brutal acts of violence seen in this century and the last. He added that these actions reflect the enemy's true savagery.

Qassem emphasized that Aqil, who founded the Radwan Force, is seen as a martyr for Jerusalem and Palestine. He further stated that Israeli Occupation attempts to weaken the resistance and provoke its base by targeting its leadership had failed, stressing that Hezbollah entered a new phase called the "Battle of Open Reckoning."

Qassem confirmed that the resistance had thwarted Israeli Occupation's objectives, noting that its aggression extended beyond fighters, targeting civilians, children, medics, and homes. He also reaffirmed Lebanon's steadfast support for Gaza, regardless of how long the conflict continues.
