Hezbollah makes first statement following assassination attempt on leader Nasrallah

Hezbollah has issued its first official statement, following the “Israeli” strike on their main headquarters in Dahieh, Beirut.

The statement makes no mention of the strike, nor Nasrallah’s fate, and says they’ve targeted the “occupied city of Safed with a rocket barrage.”

Hebrew media reported that rocket alarm sirens were activated in Nahariya and surrounding areas in northern “Israel”.

It added that the rockets from Lebanon targeted dozens of towns in the Lower Galilee.
