Alexander Gusev, the governor of Russia's Voronezh region, announced Saturday that emergency services were working on extinguishing a blazing fuel tank at an oil depot.

More than 100 firefighters, along with 30 units of equipment, were deployed to the scene to combat the fire. 

No injuries have been reported thus far.

Earlier Saturday, a Russian security source informed Reuters that Wagner fighters had reportedly seized control of military facilities in Voronezh, a city situated approximately 500 km south of Moscow.
