In a recent statement, the Permanent Mission of Iran to the United Nations in New York addressed Iran's military action in response to the "Zionist regime’s aggression against [their] diplomatic premises in Damascus."

Citing Article 51 of the UN Charter, which allows for legitimate defense, Iran defended its actions as warranted in the face of perceived threats.

The statement declared the matter resolved for the time being but cautioned that any further provocations by Israeli Occupation would result in a significantly harsher response from Iran.

Additionally, the statement emphasized that the conflict at hand was strictly between Iran and the Israeli Occupation, warning the United States to refrain from involvement.

The statement underscores Iran's stance on regional tensions and its determination to protect its interests.
