The Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) arrested 11 drug dealers in Northern Badia, according to the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD).

The operation was implemented with the support from the Gendarmerie Forces, the Royal Badia Police and the department's special team. 

The spokesperson confirmed that 26 different sites were raided during the campaign.

Two drug dealers were arrested inside a hole where they hide narcotics, during which a total of 107 slabs of hashish and three firearms were seized.

A wanted person was arrested after a failed escape attempt in possession of one kilogram of crystal meth, 1,000 narcotic pills and a quantity of hashish were seized.

Four other cases were investigated and a total of eight involved drug dealers were arrested in Amman, Madaba and Aqaba.

The AND in the Capital also worked on two cases, the first of which resulted in the arrest of one drug dealer and two of his workers. During the raid, six slabs of hashish and a large quantity of narcotic pills were seized.

In the second case, two drug dealers were arrested in possession of a quantity of hashish.

In Madaba governorate, a drug dealer was arrested in possession of one kilogram of crystal meth.

In Aqaba, the house of two drug dealers was raided and they were arrested in possession of seven slabs of hashish.
