The Hebrew newspaper Maariv reported on the infiltration of a group of Palestinian resistance fighters into Sderot, with indications of hostage-taking.

Several injuries have been reported due to confrontations between the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and members of Al-Qassam Brigades in Sderot, according to Hebrew Channel 12.

Sderot, situated near Gaza, is one of the key locations breached by the fighters.

Members of Al-Qassam Brigades were seen roaming the city's streets and storming positions affiliated with the Israeli Occupation police.
