In a bold artistic move, R&B singer Kehlani has released a new song and music video titled "Next 2 U," showing solidarity with Palestine at a time when many artists remain silent on the issue.

The video begins with a powerful anti-war quote from Palestinian poet Hala Alyan:

“Keep your moon
We have our own
Keep your army
We have our name
Keep your flag
We have fruits and in
All the right colors.”

And also includes, “Long live the intifada.”

This sets the tone for the rest of the video, which is deeply embedded with themes of resistance and cultural pride.

Additionally, throughout the video, Kehlani and a troupe of dancers are seen wearing black and white keffiyehs on their shoulders and performing in front of Palestinian flags.

The music video concludes with a sobering message about the tragic loss of life among Gaza’s children due to the Israeli Occupation’s aggression.

“We tried to make a scroll honoring the names of thousands of deceased children,” the closing message reads. “The list was so long that our fastest scroll at 3 minutes was illegible.”
