The Jordan Meteorological Department reported that on the first day of Eid al-Adha, the impact of the hot air mass over the Kingdom will slightly diminish, resulting in a slight drop in temperatures. However, temperatures will remain 5-6 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average.

The weather will be hot in most areas, and very hot in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will be moderate, picking up at times in the evening.

At night, the weather will be moderately warm in most regions, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some mid-altitude clouds appearing in the south of the Kingdom. Winds will be light and northwesterly.

The Department warned of the dangers of direct sun exposure and dehydration, especially affecting the health of patients and the elderly. There is also a risk of fires in forested areas. Additionally, they cautioned against leaving children in closed vehicles, even for a short time, and against leaving perfumes, sanitizers, and flammable materials inside vehicles.
