Reports emerged of a purported “Israeli” plan to assassinate Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah.

Iran has reportedly warned Hezbollah of these alleged assassination plans, according to Hebrew newspapers Yedioth Ahronoth and Ynet.

The warning from Iran came through an envoy dispatched to Beirut immediately following the assassination of Taleb Sami Abdullah, a commander within Hezbollah's Nasr unit in southern Lebanon.

The envoy reportedly met with close associates of Nasrallah in a closed-door session to convey Iran's apprehension, shared by Hezbollah, that “Israel” may now be targeting Nasrallah himself.

Yedioth Ahronoth further detailed Hezbollah's long-standing belief that “Israel” has refrained from directly targeting Nasrallah despite his three-decade leadership of the Lebanese Shia movement.

The newspaper also highlighted Hezbollah's internal dynamics, noting that reports suggesting potential successors to Nasrallah have occasionally unsettled the leader, with suspicions that such information leaks originate in Tel Aviv to sow discord within Hezbollah's leadership ranks.

Moreover, the “Israeli” Mossad spy agency purportedly claims detailed knowledge of Nasrallah's movements, asserting its capability to track him in real-time regardless of location changes.

Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen recently affirmed “Israel's” readiness to act decisively against Nasrallah if deemed necessary, stating “Israel” could eliminate him at any moment.
