Brigadier General Ayman Al-Alawneh, Director of External Patrols, confirmed that well-executed traffic plans facilitated the escort and passage of 424 buses carrying 18,000 pilgrims of various nationalities to and from different border crossings and Queen Alia Airport without any traffic incidents.

Speaking to Public Security Radio, Al-Alawneh highlighted that the External Patrols Department had prepared comprehensive plans for the 1445 Hajj season. These plans included the departure of Jordanian pilgrims and those from other Arab and Islamic countries via airports, the King Hussein Bridge, various border crossings, and across the Kingdom's governorates to the holy sites.

Al-Alawneh mentioned that the patrol teams executed these plans by escorting pilgrim buses to and from border crossings, and by setting up reception and rest tents, providing first aid services through a medical clinic and Civil Defense staff at the Zamilah and Al-Shidiyah security stations.

He also noted that specific patrols were assigned to escort buses carrying pilgrims of Arab nationalities (Palestinians and Egyptians) from border crossings to the Saudi border and Queen Alia International Airport, ensuring the buses traveled in convoys and prohibiting individual travel.
