A tragic traffic accident on the North Marmara Highway in Sakarya Province, northwestern Turkey, resulted in 10 fatalities and 54 injuries.

The collision involved seven vehicles, including three passenger buses and a truck, at the "Dagdebi" area en route to Istanbul.

Authorities, including Governor Yaşar Kara Deniz, reported the preliminary toll, confirming the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

Traffic on the affected road was temporarily halted for vehicle removal, while rescue teams remain active at the accident site.
