“Israeli” Army Radio reported that a soldier committed suicide after receiving orders to return to military service in the Gaza Strip.

About a month ago, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz revealed that ten Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) officers and soldiers had committed suicide since October 7, with some ending their lives during battles in the settlements surrounding Gaza.

These 10 soldiers, including officers with the ranks of major and lieutenant colonel, were officially recognized as having been killed in action, according to the data obtained by Haaretz. However, the IOF refused to disclose further details regarding these deaths.

Haaretz confirmed that the IOF is concealing the deaths of 17 soldiers, some of whom committed suicide, along with several reservists who took their own lives after discharge.

This prompted a report from the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, stating that the rehabilitation department of the IOF will launch a program to assist soldiers suffering from "psychological disorders" due to the war in Gaza.
