The aggression between Hezbollah and “Israeli” forces intensified on Thursday as rockets and drones struck the settlement of Katzrin in southern Golan Heights.

The attacks sparked fires across extensive areas within the settlement, according to reports from Hebrew radio. Images circulated widely depicted drone debris, underscoring the damage caused.

Hezbollah swiftly claimed responsibility, declaring, "We have targeted multiple Israeli sites in the Galilee with over 20 drones, continuing our retaliation for the assassination of military commander Mohammed Naima Nasser."

This escalation follows Hezbollah's announcement that it launched more than 100 rockets at “Israeli” military positions, citing retaliation for the alleged assassination of one of its leaders by “Israeli” forces.

Hezbollah's retaliatory strikes targeted two military sites in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights with 100 Katyusha rockets and a location in Kiryat Shmona in northern “Israel” with Falaq rockets.
